No one wants to see this, right?

OK, seriously, this is the kinda thing that’s been occupying me lately.  It’s all part of the process, but not the pretty part that’s fun to blog about.  Check back for the good stuff.  Can’t wait to show you everything that’s been going on.

More Stuff from Market

Great outdoor table, huh?  This one’s from the Phillips Collection.  It’s fun to think of all the possibilities for that built-in bowl.

Before/After Home Office

What a mess!  I got inspired watching Sarah’s House and reworked my home office.   I had no space and had even resorted to using a card table for an extra surface.  I am thrilled with these Ikea tables (like Sarah was) and I think they will function very well in this corner.  OK, no more excuses, [...]

Field Trip

Yes.  For those of you who noticed – I have slacked off the last couple of days.  But today, I went to a fabulous place.  Any guesses??

Bedroom on a Budget #3

Simple, simple.  The box hides all the clutter.

Bedroom on a Budget #2

Great Lamps

I love these double-gourd lamps we purchased for my client’s existing buffet & mirror.  It’s a reminder to never underestimate the importance of great lighting.

Hoping For More of the White Stuff?

I haven’t even checked the forecast, but wouldn’t it be nice to see this in the morning and extend the holiday break a bit?  My house looks better in Winter anyway, so there’s another good reason.

Happy Holidays

Welcome

This foyer was entered in Apartment Therapy’s 2009 Color Contest.  I am not afraid of color when it works for the client and the space.   By the way, those are not photos on the wall, they are colored pencil illustrations done by a friend/artist.  Check out David’s work at wilgusillustration.com.

Just Wallpaper that 90’s Bathroom

One of the most satisfying things I’ve done lately is to wallpaper this 90’s bathroom that’s in a mid-century home.  It’s a little retro, a little cool and a whole lot better than it was. Did I mention that this is about the “greenest” remodel around?  Nothing going to the landfill here.  This is a [...]
